Swingate Gardens is a family run Guesthouse/B&B. We are located in beautiful Prince Edward County, home of the Sandbanks Beach and some of the finest wineries in the area.
We are just a fifteen minute drive from the town of Picton where we boast 3 extremely good grocery stores, loads of upscale restaurants, a beautifully restored working cinema and a drive in movie theatre with
double screens.
We are home to many artists and their galleries as well as lovely little craft stores where you can purchase one of a kind gifts to take home as a reminder of your special vacation in "THE COUNTY!"
There is something for everyone to enjoy, young and old alike.

We are open year round with our peak season starting May 1st. and running to Labour Day weekend.
In the off season you might be interested in joining us in one of our many workshops to learn new gardening ideas, hands on learning under the watchful eye of seasoned gardeners who have many years of experience to pass on.
Swingate Gardens is also the home of "GRANDMA'S CUPBOARD" making meals easier one bag at a time.
We offer several varieties of soup mixes for you to choose from. All you have to do is add water and pop them in the slow cooker for a few hours and there you have it....comfort food when you need it the most.
We also have dry mixes for homemade biscuits and pancakes as well as other mixes to make your life easier.
We would love to welcome you to one of "GRANDMA'S" workshops where you would learn how to make fast, great tasting meals to nourish your family. Come on over and try some of the soups we are offering, combined with a hot, homemade biscuit.
"GRANDMA'S CUPBOARD" and a great selection of soup mixes etc can be found at the MILFORD MARKET held every Saturday morning 9:00am-2:00pm June 12th to Labour Day weekend. The market is held, rain or shine in the shed next to Mount Tabor Playhouse at the Milford Fairgrounds.
Come join us there and experience an old fashioned market atmosphere. You will be able to try samples of our soups and other mouth watering goodies as well as enjoy local entertainment Take home many locally produced crafts, home baking, jams and jellies and a huge array of other delightful offerings.
